Dominguez Hall Academic Classroom Building at Colorado Mesa University provides environments that encourage and extend learning. Large commons and group areas, electronically enhanced lecture auditoriums and classrooms, CIS computer classrooms, faculty offices, boardroom and a rooftop terrace create a sense of place where students want to be. This new classroom building provides a multitude of environments that encourage and enhance learning. Extended learning opportunities were incorporated throughout the building, including large commons and group areas, electronically enhanced lecture auditoriums and classrooms, CIS computer classrooms, faculty offices, boardroom and a rooftop terrace.
The building has been determined by Xcel Energy to have bettered the International Energy Conservation Code by 51%. At the time of its completion, it was determined to be the most energy efficient building on the Western Slope. LEED Gold Certified.
