Heritage Elementary

Heritage Elementary’s design facilitates cross-communication and planning between teachers through the inclusion of satellite Teacher Planning Centers and Extended Learning Areas in each wing.  Extended Learning Areas are a very important educational tool because they allow classes to come together for integrated grade level activities such as combined-grade history or science fairs, joint art projects, author days, and also provide a place to go during inclement weather play days. They also provide a place to support after school reading or on-going group activity programs.
