Millville Elementary

Millville Elementary School’s addition consists of twenty-two classrooms benefitting many grades throughout the school. Cost was a significant factor in the design.  Our solution met budget expectations and also provided energy efficiency and durability. The heating and cooling system use a hydronic heat pump system that includes what we describe as a “fur-coat” approach to insulation and the elimination of air-infiltration. Former Superintendent Bryce Draper described Millville Elementary as “one of the finest school buildings in the State of Utah.”  He was particularly pleased with the quality of materials used and their ease of maintenance, but he was also pleased with what he described as a high quality educational environment for a very reasonable price.
