South Mountain Fire Station #14

The scope of this project required working with multiple stakeholders including Salt Lake County Fire Department, the end user, and Draper City, the owner. The footprint is on a 8% cross slope with the remainder of the site sloping at 40% or greater away from the access road, which made this project a challenge. The fire station features separate sleeping accommodations for four fire personnel and one officer, with the ability to expand one more sleeping room. It also includes a sheriff’s office, training room, two separate laundry rooms, a fitness room, day room, and kitchen area.
