PM / ARCHITECT I  Salt Lake City, UT office

Design West Architects is seeking to hire a licensed and experienced architect to be a project manager in our Salt Lake City office.

The ideal candidate will excel in developing people and projects and will possess a strong portfolio of work from public and private clients. You will also have solid performance in project management, blending fiscal performance with predictable, on-time delivery of milestones and contracts.
 

Though not a requirement to apply, preference will be given to Salt Lake City area candidates who have demonstrated a history of performance for local clients; and experience in implementing and/or managing effective studio processes.

Duties will include:
 

• Working on all phases of design services, from programming and conceptual design through construction administration.
• Directing and managing the design process, client experience, and firm processes.
• Interfacing with clients and potential clients
• Local traveling, with potential for limited regional traveling.

• Mentoring a staff of 4-8 studio employees.

Qualifications include:

• Licensed UT Architect, NCARB certification preferred
• Master of Architecture degree from accredited program
• 3+ years of experience in architecture, construction management, or project management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Proficient in all industry-standard applications
 

This full-time position is located near downtown Salt Lake City. This position reports to our Salt Lake City-based studio Principal.
