School Re-Build
The design of this occupied re-build of Lewiston Elementary was
based on historical elements found in the surrounding community.
The school’s exterior design supports Lewiston’s desire to reflect its
heritage and provide a building aesthetic that compliments and “feels
right” as a major addition to this rural community.
The new Lewiston school was designed to be warm and inviting while
promoting a safer environment and a heightened level of safety and
control. Pedestrian safety is master planned with parent drives and drop
off areas separated from faculty and bus parking. The Kindergarten
drop off is separated from other access points with an observable child
entry reinforcing the “school within a school” concept.
